ArmInfo. Privates and junior warrant officers of the Armenian Armed Forces serving in the border regions of the country will be entitled to longer periods of basic leave.
The draft amendments to the law "On military service and the status of a serviceman" have been published on the website of legal acts e-draft.am.
According to the amendments, additional leave will be established for this category of servicemen.
This step, according to the authors of the bill, is intended to attach importance to compulsory military service in border military units. In particular, it is proposed to establish a leave period of 21 calendar days for private soldiers, and 30 calendar days for servicemen marked by the order of the RA Minister of Defense, which will be divided into three equal parts.
