ArmInfo. The Yerevan court of general jurisdiction has accepted the arguments put forward by the lawyers of Stepanakert mayor David Sargsyan's, leading to the removal of the administrative supervision measure against him.
During the court hearing on January 29, lawyer Roman Yeritsyan noted that David Sargsyan was previously restricted from leaving his apartment from 19:00 to 07:00 as part of the administrative supervision. Additionally, he was not allowed to attend public events or visit service enterprises, including stores, without appropriate permission. Contact with persons involved in his case was also prohibited. However, as the charges against the mayor of Stepanakert were minor, the necessity for administrative supervision deemed unnecessary. The judge agreed with the defense's arguments, but maintained the requirement to remain available.
Recall that David Sargsyan and three others were charged with fraud, which was later replaced with arbitrariness. In particular, he is accused of fraud related to the sale of 4 cars listed on the Stepanakert mayor's office balance sheet .
