ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's Civil Contract Party is losing citizens' support, as evidenced by the results of a poll conducted by the MPG consulting company/ "Proud Chipolino".
During the poll, when asked who they would vote for if parliamentary elections were held on Sunday, only 11.3% said they would vote for Nikol Pashinyan's ruling Civil Contract party. Presenting the poll results at a press conference in Yerevan on January 29, MPG consulting company head Aram Navasardyan noted that this is a record figure, a historical minimum that Pashinyan's party has demonstrated over the past 7 years. Navasardyan also noted that for the first time, Vardan Ghukasyan's DOK party has overtaken the Armenia bloc of the second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, in the ratings, securing the support of 6.8% of voters.
According to the survey, the Armenia bloc received 6.5% of support, Gagik Tsarukyan's Prosperous Armenia party - 2.4%, and the I Have the Honor bloc led by the third president of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, - 2.3%. It is worth mentioning that 27.2% of respondents said they would not participate in the elections, 15.4% found it difficult to answer, 10.2% refused to answer, and 13.3% said they would vote against all candidates.
It should be noted that the survey was conducted via telephone calls to residents of the Republic of Armenia from January 20 to 22 of this year. The sample size was 1,100, with a sampling error +/- 3%.
