ArmInfo. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan has stated that he plans to address the potential revision of the tariff structures for single ticket packages at the upcoming meeting of the Council of Elders. The mayor shared this information on his Facebook page, noting that the idea was prompted by feedback and recommendations from the city's residents.
According to Avinyan, several changes to tariffs will be proposed at the meeting. Specifically, it is planned to reduce the price to 2,000 drams for 10 trips over a 45- day period, compared to the current price of 2,200 drams for a 30-day period. It is also proposed to change the tariff for a single trip to 300 drams with an extended validity period of 180 minutes instead of the current 90 minutes. A one-day package priced at 900 drams will provide an unlimited number of trips instead of the current limit of eight, and a weekly package priced at 5,000 drams will provide an unlimited number of trips instead of the current limit of 30 trips. The Mayor of Yerevan emphasized that any other potential changes and additions will be announced directly at the meeting of the Yerevan Council of Elders.
