Yerevan  residents are dissatisfied with  patrol officers and police  performance

ArmInfo. The quality of work of the employees of the patrol and guard service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia is becoming increasingly unpopular among Yerevan residents. This is evidenced by the results of the survey "Voice of Yerevan Residents: ERROR 404", conducted by the consulting company MPG.  When asked to evaluate the work of patrol officers in Yerevan, only 14.9% of respondents considered it positive, 44.8% -  rather positive, 15.4% - rather negatively, 12.8% - extremely  negatively, and 12.1% found it difficult to answer It is noteworthy  that in 2023, the work of patrol officers was positively assessed by  23.4% of respondents, and in 2022, by 29.5%. There is an obvious  decline.  City residents are also unhappy with the police reforms.  When asked to assess the changes in the police over the past year,  only 10.7% of respondents rated them positively, compared to 17.5% in  2023 and 20.1% in 2022. Respondents who viewed the changes as rather  positive were 33%, slightly lower than the 31.4% in 2023 and  significantly lower that the 38.8% in 2022.
