ArmInfo. The Chamber of Advocates of Armenia has submitted a joint petition to the government of the country with a formal request to review the amendments to the law, which proposes an increase in the taxation of lawyers' services.
As noted in the message received by ArmInfo, the lawyers request to be exempted from value-added tax on services that fall under the category of lawyers' activities. "We ask you to come up with a legislative initiative and send to the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia a bill "On Amendments to the Tax Legislation of the Republic of Armenia", which will exempt lawyers' services, including free (gratuitous) and voluntary legal assistance, from value added tax," the appeal says.
