This was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the opening of the 10th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
"I am confident that through joint efforts we will not only overcome all challenges, but also make maximum use of existing opportunities for even more fruitful cooperation. We are sincerely interested in implementing specific practical steps and promoting cooperation in the region. Georgia offers the parties a trilateral cooperation initiative that involves the participation of all three South Caucasus countries in various areas," Kobakhidze noted, adding that the commission meeting will promote dynamic cooperation between the two countries.
The Georgian Minister expressed confidence that today's meeting will reveal new opportunities for expanding Georgian-Azerbaijani cooperation in order to make the strategic partnership between the countries even more dynamic and productive.
"I would like to reaffirm once again that Georgia and Azerbaijan firmly support each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and express my gratitude to you for this," the Georgian Prime Minister said, as reported by Channel One Georgia.
According to him, in the context of a rapidly changing and complex geopolitical situation in the region and the world, peace and stability are becoming even more important as key conditions for regional development and sustainable well-being.
