ArmInfo. The foreign policy of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan continues to contain elements of adventurism, threatening to bring another catastrophe to our homeland. This is how former director of the National Security Service, leader of the Homeland party Artur Vanetsyan responded to the signing of the Charter on Strategic Partnership between Washington and Yerevan.
"I have read the document entitled "Strategic Partnership between Russia and the United States". According to the rules of the genre, Nikol Pashinyan will soon announce Armenia's withdrawal from the CSTO. For its part, Russia, in fact, stated that Armenia cannot have the issue of membership in the European Union on its agenda and remain a member of the Eurasian Economic Union. It is obvious that Nikol Pashinyan's foreign policy continues to contain elements of adventurism, threatening to bring another catastrophe to our homeland," Vanetsyan believes.
He added that any state decision must be based on the interests of the Motherland and a careful calculation of the results and consequences of this decision. "Meanwhile, in this case, haste is obvious, stemming from the interests of others. And this means that serious consequences may arise, from which we will all suffer without exception," the former head of the National Security Service of Armenia wrote.
