ArmInfo. A citizen of Armenia can work a lot and earn a lot, but he will have to spend much more than he earned. This was written on social networks by the deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, member of the Alternative Projects group Elinar Vardanyan. She recalled that the day before, gold market workers protested against tax increases.
"In the near future, we will see new groups of protesters. I am sure that this process will not be limited to this. Almost a year ago, I warned that those who came to power with promises of welfare for citizens began a policy of "robbing" citizens, and in the near future they will resort to new tricks, perform new stunts to replenish the state budget. The citizen of Armenia will feel this burden on their shoulders," the deputy noted.
Vardanyan added that the provincial formula for a good life - "earn a lot and spend a lot" - will work completely differently in this case. "In the near future, I will persistently and patiently, by spheres, consider the tax liabilities that create an additional burden for the citizens of the Republic of Armenia. Today, the burden that has arisen for citizens as a result of the transfer of notary, lawyer and accounting services to the general taxation sphere has increased sharply. As a result, according to rough estimates, legal services will become or have already become almost 40% more expensive. The burden of these changes will be borne annually by about 200 thousand citizens. About 190-200 thousand claims are filed in courts annually. Moreover, lawyers face a serious problem in providing free legal services. Many lawyers have already made statements that in 2025 they will no longer be able to help citizens for free. There is another, worse way: service providers will conclude contracts with individual clients in a "white" form, and next year they will begin to receive most of the money in cash (in a "black" form). The draft government resolution is posted on the single website of draft legal acts e-draft.am, where notary service prices are considered. The cost of services has almost doubled. For example, real estate donation agreements to heirs cost 10-15 thousand drams instead of 5-7 thousand drams. Of course, the state fee is added to this. For a certificate of inheritance, heirs will pay 10-15 thousand drams instead of the previous 3-5 thousand drams. As statistics show, the price increase will affect about 1 million citizens," the parliamentarian noted.
She pointed to the problem associated with the work of notary offices in the regions, which conduct only a few dozen transactions per year. With the application of the new tax rates, they simply will not be able to work. From July 1, accounting service providers will also revise the cost of their services.
"So, dear compatriots, you can work a lot, maybe even earn a lot, but you will spend much more, and you will not live very well," Vardanyan wrote. Let us recall that earlier, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the only opportunity for a good life is work. "You need to work a lot, a lot, to earn a lot of money and spend a lot. There is simply no other way," the head of the Armenian government noted.
