ArmInfo. About 300 Armenian trucks have accumulated at the Upper Lars checkpoint on the Russian-Georgian road. This was reported by the North Ossetian Traffic Organization Center.
The source, citing the latest data, reports that 782 vehicles have lined up to pass at the checkpoint, 299 of which are Armenian.
Earlier today, it was reported that the Upper Lars checkpoint was closed to trucks. In an interview with ArmInfo, the customs attache of the Armenian Embassy in Russia Vahan Hakobyan noted that due to heavy snowfall, the Krestovy Pass is closed to trucks in both directions on the Gudauri-Kobi section of the international Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway. The road remains open for passenger cars.
