Armenia, US to ensure continuity of cooperation in law enforcement sphere

ArmInfo. Arsen Ayvazyan, the Deputy hairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, received a delegation led by Jari Barnett, the US Consul General in Armenia, on January 14.  As reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee,  Arsen Ayvazyan  greeted Jari Barnett and congratulated  on assuming the position of the Consul Chief at the U.S. Embassy in Armenia. He pointed out the high level of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of both countries  and the support provided to the system by the US Embassy.

In turn, Jari Barnett thanked the Deputy Chairman of the  Investigative Committee for the rapid exchange of information on urgent issues arising in the sphere of transnational crime.  At the end of the meeting the parties expressed their willingness to ensure continuity of cooperation through joint efforts.
