ArmInfo. On January 10, Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, received the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Magdalena Grono.
As reported by the press service of the Security Council, the meeting discussed issues concerning both regional and extra-regional security. Specifically, the parties reviewed the progress in normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Grigoryan outlined the steps taken by the Armenian government to achieve peace with Azerbaijan. Additionally, they discussed the unblocking regional infrastructures. The Secretary of the Security Council presented the "Crossroads of Peace" project and Armenia's efforts to implement it. During the meeting, the parties also touched upon several issues on the agenda of Armenia's relations with the European Union, as well as the potential for further expanding and deepening cooperation.
