ArmInfo. The cashback program for pensioners and benefit recipients when paying with bank cards, has been extended until the end of 2025. The corresponding decision was made on January 9 at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Armenia. Presenting the draft decision, Minister of Labor and Social Issues Narek Mkrtchyan recalled that the program has been in effect since July 2022. The state returned 10% of the funds, up to a maximum of 5 thousand AMD, to all pensioners who made purchases of goods and services with their cards. Starting from October 2024, the amount of cashback percentage on cashless purchases was increased to 12%, up to 6 thousand AMD.
