On January 8, Artur Poghosyan, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, received a delegation led by the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia, Kristina Kvien. As reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, during the meeting Artur Poghosyan highlighted the strong cooperation between the Investigative Committee and the US Embassy. In turn, the US Ambassador congratulated Poghosyan on his appointment and appreciated the meeting initiative.
Kristina Kvein emphasized the significance of partnership with the Investigative Committee and expressed confidence in its continuity. During the conversation, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee touched upon the joint efforts of the two countries in combating transnational crime. The parties emphasized the importance of the effectiveness of various courses and trainings aimed at enhancing the professional capabilities of the Investigative Committee staff, organized within the support provided by the US Embassy. The parties confirmed their readiness to continue their active cooperation.
