ArmInfo. Next week, Armenia and the United States will sign a strategic partnership agreement in Washington, which will be an important step in strengthening bilateral relations. This was written on his Facebook page by the chairman of the pro-Western party "For the Sake of the Republic" Arman Babajanyan.
According to him, this agreement includes several key areas. In the security sphere, it will facilitate the modernization of defense systems, joint exercises and the implementation of regional stability initiatives, providing Armenia with stronger tools to protect its sovereignty.
In the energy sector, priority will be given to investments in renewable energy projects, modernization of the energy system and the use of sustainable energy technologies that increase Armenia's energy independence.
In the economic sphere, the discussion will focus on increasing American investment in information technology, infrastructure and agriculture, expanding trade opportunities and supporting entrepreneurship, which in turn will lead to the creation of new high-paying jobs.
In the technological sphere, the document will promote cooperation in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and digital infrastructure to accelerate Armenia's innovative development.
"The agreement reflects the joint commitment of Armenia and the United States to democracy, stability and progress, providing a clear path to a secure and prosperous future for Armenia," the politician expressed confidence.
There has been no official announcement from the Armenian authorities about the upcoming event yet.
