ArmInfo. Armenia's Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan and Vanane Ararktsyan, Executive Director, Keron Foundation, signed a memorandum of cooperation at a meeting.
As ArmInfo was informed by the Office, the memorandum sets out key areas of cooperation within the framework of the "iGorts" program, the purpose of which is to attract specialists from the Armenian Diaspora to work in the public administration system of Armenia.
During the ceremony, Zareh Sinanyan expressed confidence that cooperation with the Keron Foundation will be an important step towards the implementation of new initiatives aimed at using the professional potential of the Diaspora.
In turn, Vanane Ararktsyan noted the foundation's readiness to continue investing in the implementation of joint projects and the development of new programs within the framework of this cooperation. "We are pleased to be partners of the iGorts program, since its goals fully coincide with the mission of our foundation - to attract the best specialists to Armenia and facilitate their participation in the development of the country," Ararktsyan added.
As recalled by the Office of Diaspora Affairs, this year, with the support of the Keron Development Foundation, American-Armenian musician, songwriter and producer Tatevik Yeghiazaryan began cooperation with the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia within the framework of the iGorts program.
It should be noted that the Keron Foundation aims to promote transformative changes in Armenia through initiatives that support culture, education, sports, healthcare and territorial development, while supporting talent from around the world and strengthening local capabilities.
