Armenian, Georgian military schools sign cooperation memorandum 

ArmInfo.  On December 23-24, students and the management of the "Senior Defense and Security Program" of the School for Development of Defense Institutions of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, under the leadership of Deputy Director of the educational institution Nikoloz Melkadze, visited Armenia.

As reported by the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry, the Georgian delegation was received by the Head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the RA Defense Ministry Levon Ayvazyan at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

During the meeting, the process of reforms implemented in the defense sector of Armenia, as well as the prospects for cooperation between Armenia and Georgia in the defense sector were presented.

The Georgian delegation was also received at the National Defense Research University of the RA Defense Ministry, where the head of the university and representatives of the faculty answered questions from the students of the "Senior Defense and Security Program".

Following the visit to Armenia, for the first time in the history of  cooperation between the military educational institutions of the two countries, a memorandum of cooperation was signed.
