Armenia`s human rights defender, Iraqi diplomat discuss human rights protection problem 

ArmInfo. The Human Rights Defender of Armenia Anahit Manasyan received the Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the Republic of Armenia Ali Abdulkarem Utavi.

As reported by the press service of the RA Ombudsman, Manasyan presented the areas of activity of the office of the Human Rights Defender, especially highlighting the protection of the rights of women, children, national minorities, persons with disabilities, civil and socio-economic rights, the protection of the rights of persons in the armed forces and a number of other areas.

The interlocutors discussed problems in the field of human rights and a number of issues of mutual interest.  Utavi thanked Manasyan for the reception and productive conversation.
