ArmInfo. A joint training session was held for the duty shifts of the CSTO Crisis Response Center, control points of defense departments and emergency ministries of the Organization's member states.
As reported by the CSTO press service, during the training, joint actions of duty shifts were practiced in identifying sabotage at critical infrastructure facilities, during incidents on the state border of one of the CSTO member states. In addition, according to the concept of the joint training, an emergency situation with a large-scale spill of a chemically hazardous substance developed at one of the facilities as a result of a terrorist act, the elimination of which required the prompt involvement of rescue units.
Deputy Chief of the CSTO Crisis Response Center, Colonel Evgeny Chernousov, summing up the results of the joint training session, noted that the duty shifts successfully worked out all the introductory and interaction issues in the event of crisis (emergency) situations.
Judging by the photos from the event, Armenia did not participate in the training.
