ArmInfo. The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MSCS) of the Republic of Armenia Zhanna Andreasyan visited the Mika Sports Complex, which operates under the Sports Management Center.
Accompanied by the Director of the Center Khoren Zargaryan, Zhanna Andreasyan inspected the sports and administrative infrastructure of the complex, got acquainted with the conditions of the repair work carried out by the center, noted the existing problems and issues of their further solution.
The Minister also visited the football field, karate and wrestling halls, as well as the mini-football hall, where basketball training is also held.
During the visit, the need for roof and boiler room repairs, modernization of the sewerage system, as well as reconstruction of administrative buildings, 3 of which are for team sports, was noted.
Khoren Zargaryan reported that currently 1,200 children are involved in various sports in the sports complex: football, wrestling, karate, etc.
We remind you that the purpose of creating the Sports Management Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia is the unified management of sports property of regional structures and the effective implementation of various programs in the field of sports.
