33% of Yerevan residents made use of universal ticket system last week 

ArmInfo. Over the past week, 679,515 Yerevan residents out of 2.026 million passengers used the unified ticket system. This was announced on December 23 at a working meeting in the capital's municipality by Beglar Kirakosyan, Director of Yerevan Bus CJSC.

According to him, the number of city transport passengers who used the unified ticket system is only 33.5%. The company's profit for the week amounted to 202.6 million drams.

We remind you that from February 1, 2025, the capital's transport will completely switch to the new ticket system. Already in January of next year, payment for travel on city transport in cash in 100-dram coins will be completely prohibited. City residents will have to purchase travel tickets through Tellcell Wallet terminals using QR tickets or bank cards.
