Black ice, blocked road in Armenia 

ArmInfo. Black ice is observed in some places on the roads in the mountainous areas of the Syunik region of Armenia. This warning was issued by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

The source notes that there is a closed road on the territory of the Republic of Armenia. In particular, the road leading to Lake Kari and the high-mountain weather station "Amberd" is closed to vehicles.

Drivers are advised to drive exclusively on winter tires.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal  Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of transport.
