ArmInfo. In about one week, negotiations with the European Union delegation, currently in Armenia on a familiarization visit, will be completed. Following this, a new cooperation program will be prepared. Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan, made this statement on December 18 during the panel discussion titled "Challenges and Opportunities 2025".
According to him, the new program will not only complement the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, but also expand it by including new areas. Regarding the process of visa liberalization for citizens of Armenia with the European Union, as the Deputy Minister noted, official Yerevan has been working in this direction for many years, and substantive negotiations on this issue have now begun. "We hope that this process will not take too much time. In addition, we have joined the European Peace Facility, which will be a great contribution to the defense reforms we are implementing," Paruyr Hovhannisyan added.
