Lower chamber of Swiss parliament adopts resolution on Artsakh 

ArmInfo. The lower house of  the Swiss parliament discussed and adopted a resolution entitled "Nagorno-Karabakh: Peace Conference". 96 legislators voted "for" the resolution, 80 voted "against", and 16 abstained.

The resolution calls on the Swiss government to convene an  international peace forum to facilitate an open dialogue between Azerbaijan and the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh/Artsakh under international control to discuss their security and the right to collective return.

The author of the resolution is MP Erich Fontobel. Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis also took part in the discussion.

We add that today in Yerevan, in front of the Swiss embassy, there will be a rally of Artsakh residents who also call for support for the collective right to return to the homeland.
