ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates Anwar Gargash discussed issues of the bilateral political agenda of the RA-UAE at a meeting in Yerevan.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the interlocutors mutually pointed out the positive dynamics in relations, the recorded results, as well as the readiness of the parties to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The parties particularly noted the additional opportunities that exist for deepening cooperation in the areas of trade, tourism, technology and infrastructure development.
Mirzoyan stressed the need to continue making active efforts to achieve more significant results, since there is mutual interest, political will and mutually beneficial prospects.
In the context of stimulating investments, the importance of holding regular mutual visits and conferences with the participation of business circles was emphasized.
Mirzoyan and Gargash exchanged views on regional issues. In this vein, the head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry presented Armenia's vision for establishing stability and peace in the South Caucasus, including the opportunities provided by the opening of regional communications.
The interlocutors also touched upon the latest developments in the Middle East.
During the meeting, Mirzoyan congratulated Gargash on being awarded the RA "Friendship" medal.
