Impassable roads in Armenia 

ArmInfo.  A blizzard is  raging on the section of the road leading from the Sevan Peninsula to the Dilijan Tunnel. This was reported in a statement by the RA Road Department Foundation.

As noted in the statement, the road leading to Lake Kari and the  Amberd high-mountain weather station is closed to traffic. The  Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass for trucks with trailers.  Drivers are advised to use anti-skid chains.

Icy conditions are observed in places on the roads of Syunik,  Gegharkunik, Aragats, Aparan and Tigranashen regions.

Meanwhile, according to the statement by the Rescue Service of the RA  Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to  all types of transport.
