ArmInfo. On December 16, a delegation led by Alen Simonyan, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, who is currently on an official visit to India, met with the President of India, Draupadi Murmu.
According to the press service of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, the parties noted with satisfaction the high dynamics of development in relations between the two countries. They added that, despite extensive cooperation, there is still great untapped potential in bilateral relations. Draupadi Murmu thanked Alen Simonyan for his official visit to India and expressed confidence that this visit will open a new chapter in bilateral relations. Alen Simonyan expressed gratitude for the meeting and emphasized that India is an important partner for Armenia. The interlocutors also discussed other issues of bilateral interest, including the possibility of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
