ArmInfo. The most important position in Armenia remains vacant. This was written on his Facebook page by member of the alternative projects group Vahe Hovhannisyan, I mean the opposition representative for the post of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the political scientist, the current authorities of the country have lost their social base, but in order for the chaotic process of losing the social base to develop into political rejection, it is necessary to occupy a very important post in the country, which remains vacant.
"This is the position of a moderator, a person who will patiently work with influential groups, public assets, regional elites, political units, the church, business elites, civil society and other circles, saying what he intends to achieve in order to form a consensus for the sake of the new government, which will lead the country out of chaos through changes," Vahe Hovhannisyan noted.
He added that we are talking about the most important position in history. "This is specific work, dirty work and very difficult, but this is the most important work, if you like, of a real hero of this historical stage. Another option is simpler: wait and come up with a leader. But the birth of a leader is possible only and only after the moderation stage. As soon as a public consensus on changes is formed as a result of moderation and a mechanism serving this idea is formed, one after another individuals will be formed who will make a serious bid for the new government. The process will go so smoothly that we will ask in surprise: "Are these really the same people who were next to us? We now need a mediator of internal processes. We do not even listen to each other, we are divided into audiences and do not listen to the person closest to us. The degradation of our state is so deep that we have turned into something like Libya, where instead of political systems, institutions, there are groups, tribes, etc., which must be brought to consensus in order to resolve some issue. We are deceiving ourselves by claiming that we have political institutions, parties, party life or politics in general. As a first step, we need to start listening to each other. This will lead to de-escalation within the country, which will dramatically increase our state resistance. If we do not do this, one day unknown people will penetrate our country from somewhere and stay here forever. It will happen so quickly that we will not even understand what happened," the political scientist said.
He once again stated that moderation is the most important work that needs to be done in 2025, and the moderator is a real hero who should not have any personal interest in this work. "The name of the person (or group of people) who will carry out intra-Armenian and pan-Armenian mediation will be written in golden letters in the history of the country," Vahe Hovhannisyan concluded.
