Kavelashvili elected President of Georgia by Electoral College

ArmInfo. The Central Election Commission of Georgia has completed the counting of votes in the presidential elections.

The only candidate, Mikheil Kavelashvili,  received  224 out of 300 electors' votes  and will be declared  elected without a need for a second round.  The elections were  declared valid.  The inauguration of the new president will take  place on December 29.
