Third stage of certification of police officers in Armenia 

ArmInfo.The third stage of certification of police officers will start in Armenia on December 16. The corresponding order was signed by the RA Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan.

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,  certification is an important component of developing the  professional potential and improving the social guarantees of police  officers.  In order to successfully conduct them, large-scale  preparatory work and the process of accepting applications from  police officers are beginning.

The certification process itself will begin on April 1, 2025.

The department recalled that the government decision approved the  certification procedure and the amount of additional payments based  on its results. The first stage of police certification started in  August 2023.

Then, 1,123 police officers submitted applications, of which 408  people passed the certification. 2,900 applications were submitted to  participate in the second stage of certification, of which 595 police  officers successfully passed it. In total, 1,900 police officers have  passed the general stage of certification, and since December 9 they  have been taking part in testing their physical fitness.
