ArmInfo. A defense cooperation program for 2025 has been signed between Armenia and Italy. This was reported in a statement by the press service of the RA Ministry of Defense.
As the source notes, the program, which includes a number of events on the exchange of experience, military education and other areas of cooperation, was signed following regular consultations between representatives of the defense ministries of the two countries. From the Armenian side, the negotiations were attended by Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the RA Ministry of Defense, and from the Italian side, by Colonel Mattia Zuzzi, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Italian Armed Forces.
During the consultations, the results of the work carried out in 2024 were discussed, and events for the next year were planned.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the progress of cooperation, which has been expanding in recent years, including new areas. Levon Ayvazyan presented to his Italian colleagues the progress of the work carried out in the direction of transforming the armed forces of Armenia. An exchange of views also took place on a number of regional and international issues.
