Members of the Armenia-Ukraine Parliamentary Friendship Group held a meeting with deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, including Lyubov Shpak (a member of the Ukraine-Armenia parliamentary friendship group) and Vadym Ivchenko. The delegation of Ukrainian parliamentarians arrived in Armenia to participate in the 64th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC).
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues regarding Armenian-Ukrainian relations, including the prospects for developing inter-parliamentary ties. When discussing their expansion, the deputies emphasized the important role of inter-parliamentary interaction. With Dmitry Mikisha now leading the Ukraine-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group, the participants emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the heads of friendship groups and further deepening contacts.
