On December 11, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received a delegation led by Johannes Luschner, the Deputy Director-General for Migration and Home Affairs of the European Commission, as reported by the government press service. According to the source, the meeting was also attended by Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, the head of the EU delegation to Armenia.
While welcoming the guests, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the activities being implemented within the framework of the visa liberalization dialogue between Armenia and the EU. Mher Grigoryan highlighted the positive changes that could result from visa liberalization, such as increased mobility in certain sectors of the country's economy. He particularly noted the importance of fully implementing the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the EU and presented the reforms that had been implemented and planned in key areas to the EU partners. The discussion also covered topics such as social protection, healthcare, education, and border control.
