An earthquake has occurred in Armenia.

ArmInfo. According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Internal  Affairs, an earthquake with a magnitude of 1.9 occurred on December 9  at 00:15 local time, 9 km southeast of the village of Garni. The  strength of the tremors at the epicenter was 2-3 points.

The earthquake was felt in the city of Yerevan and in the villages of  Garni and Goght in the Kotayk region of the republic.
