Canadian Prime Minister`s Special Envoy- Ottawa supports Yerevan`s  peace efforts 

ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan received Stephane Dion, Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of Canada for Europe, the European Union and Armenia.  As reported by  the press service of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Pashinyan  welcomed Stephane Dion's visit to Armenia and emphasized the latter's  role in the consistent development of Armenian-Canadian relations.  The head of the Armenian Cabinet highlighted the importance of  expanding relations with Canada in various fields and promoting  democratic reforms in Armenia. He emphasized the strategic importance  of judicial and legal reforms for the RA government.

Stephane Dion noted that Canada welcomes the efforts made by the  Armenian government to implement reforms in the field of human rights  protection, strengthening of democracy and is ready to continue  supporting f Armenia in  high technology, education, and culture.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the implementation of  joint projects in various areas. They exchanged views on the latest  developments regarding the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace treaty. In this  context, Prime Minister Pashinyan touched upon the positions of the  Armenian side on various issues.  Stephane Dion emphasized that  Canada supports the efforts of the RA government.
