ArmInfo. According to data provided by the State Revenue Committee, 25,000 forcibly displaced Artsakh residents are officially employed. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ruben Sargsyan, during a meeting of the Public Council on Support for Forcibly Displaced Artsakh Residents on December 5.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, two main issues were discussed at the meeting. The first issue concerned state assistance programs in the field of employment, which was presented by Deputy Minister Ruben Sargsyan. "Currently, there are two forms of employment through the Unified Social Service: one is through a direct employer, and the other in the form of work practice or training," the Deputy Minister clarified. The second question was presented by Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Anna Zhamakochyan, and it concerned the current situation with the state housing assistance program for families from Artsakh.
