ArmInfo. According to preliminary results, the Armenian Union of Romania received 4,748 votes in the parliamentary elections held in Romania on December 1, 2024, and overcame the electoral threshold provided by law for organizations representing national minorities, Armenpress reports.
As a result of the elections, the Armenian Union of Romania will receive one mandate in the newly elected parliament, which will be taken by Varuzhan Pambucchian, who heads the list.
Varuzhan Pambucchian is the vice-president of the Armenian Union of Romania and will represent the Armenian community in the Romanian parliament for the eighth time.
