ArmInfo. The 27th telethon of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund on November has raised approximately $15.3 million so far, as noted in the statement of the Fund. As the source notes, the final results of the telethon will be summarized by the end of the year. The funds raised will be used to implement various programs in Armenia. During the event, the largest investments were made by citizens and companies of Armenia Armenia: $1,218,185, United States: $7,700,717, France: $5,000,000 (including $1.5 million from anonymous donors) and Toronto (Canada): $1,052,000. Donations also came from Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Argentina, Brazil, Australia and Romania.
There were also anonymous donors, who provided a total of $ 1.6 million. The Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to the banks operating within Armenia for their significant contributions to this fundraiser, which is vital for Armenians worldwide. Collectively, they raise a total of 280 mln AMD (Ardshinbank, Ameriabank, Fastbank, Evocabank, Armeconombank, ACBA Bank, Unibank, AMIO Bank, Conversebank, Inecobank, VTB, ArmSwiss Bank). "Special thanks are also extended to the cardholders of the ACBA Visa BARERAR card jointly (jointly issued by ACBA Bank and the Fund), as well as contributors such as Digitain, Tigran Mets Publishing House, YSU Foundation, Garni Invest UWC, Tel Cel, Yerevan Beer CJSC, and all other generous donors," the statement says.
It reminds that funds raised during the "For You, Armenia" Telethon 2024 will support a variety of strategic projects, including the construction of a residential area in the Balahovit community of the Kotayk region for war veterans with physical impairment and their families, and the construction of the Artsakh Cultural Heritage Center I and a residential area in Gyumri for the families of Artsakh carpet weavers.
