Armenia, Italy to deepen defense cooperation 

ArmInfo.  Armenia and Italy intend to deepen bilateral cooperation in the field of defense.

According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Defense, the  Armenian delegation headed by Deputy Chief of the General Staff of  the RA Armed Forces, Major General Karen Grigoryan, took part in an  event dedicated to the defense sphere (ITA4) in Italy within the  framework of the cooperation program.

During the meeting with the Commander of the Engineering Brigade of  the Armed Forces of the Italian Republic, Brigadier General Dello  Monaco and a number of officials of the brigade, a number of issues  related to the development and deepening of cooperation in the field  of defense both within the European Union and NATO were discussed.

During the meeting, the host side presented detailed information on  the activities carried out in the Italian Armed Forces, the training  of engineering troops, specialists, the conduct of exercises, as well  as the work of engineering units during peacekeeping operations.
