Earthquake in Iran felt in Armenia

ArmInfo. The earthquake in Iran was also felt in Armenia.  This was stated in a statement by the  Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.

As noted in the statement, the earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4,  recorded by the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the  Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, occurred the  day before at 20:50 local time, 67 km west of the city of Ahar. At  the epicenter, the force of the tremor was 6 points.

The earthquake with a magnitude of 3-4 points was felt in the cities  of Goris, Sisian, Meghri, Kapan, Kajaran and Agarak in the Syunik  region of Armenia.
