ArmInfo. On November 26, the RA Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, received a delegation led by Polish President Andrzej Duda, who is visiting Armenia officially.
As reported by the press service of the RA government, the Prime Minister noted during the meeting that he attaches great importance to this visit in terms of further developing relations between Armenia and Poland. Pashinyan mentioned that there is significant potential for their development, that has not been fully utilized.
In response, the President of Poland expressed his pleasure at having the opportunity to make an official visit to Armenia. He remarked that despite being the President of Poland for 9.5 years, relations between the two states have never been at such a high level before. The interlocutors emphasized the importance of continuing to develop and expand collaboration between the two states in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. They also highlighted the necessity of taking consistent steps to enhance trade and economic ties.
The President of Poland expressed his country's support for the strengthening of Armenia-EU relations and the implementation of democratic reforms in Armenia. He also welcomed the launch of the EU-Armenia visa liberalization dialogue. Nikol Pashinyan updated Andrzej Duda on the recent progress in the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty and the principled positions of the Armenian side. The Prime Minister reiterated Armenia's commitment to the peace agenda.
