Yerevan to host ARMMONO PLUS for the 8th time

ArmInfo. The 8th ARMMONO PLUS, a mono performance festival, will be held this year from November 29 to December 4. Festival director Marianna Mkhitaryan  mentioned during the press conference that the program for this year  will be diverse and multi-genre.

The program will feature 12 one-man performances, including 2  international (Georgia and Russia).  Mkhitaryan noted that this year  they are expecting not only premiere productions, but also debut  works in terms of both dramaturgy and acting. The festival will open  on November 29, at 19:30, at the Yerevan Artistic Theater named after  M. Mkrtchyan with the play "David of Sasun" directed by Narine  Grigoryan.  Actor Armen Kushkyan will portray David of Sasun.

The festival will end on December 4 with a groundbreaking performance  in the history of ARMMONO PLUS.  This performance was prepared by a  young film director and graduate of the Yerevan Institute of Theater  and Cinema, Sona Khachatryan. The performance was developed in  interaction with artificial intelligence. Keeping details under  wraps, the director of ARMMONO+ noted that it will involve a dialogue  with AI. Additionally, according to her, there will also be a  performance generated by artificial intelligence.  The venues for the  festival include the Union of Theater Workers of Armenia, the Small  Theater, the Paronyan Theater, the Chamber Theater, and the Charles  Aznavour College. Rossotrudnichestvo will also provide a venue.
