ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will significantly reduce the fleet of official vehicles of state agencies. He announced this during an interview with the Public Television of Armenia.
He said that he intended to resort to a crude method of reduction. In particular, from the very morning, according to him, he studied the lists of vehicle fleets of state agencies and, wielding a pen, crossed out, in his opinion, the excess number of official vehicles. As a result of such a reduction, as the Prime Minister noted, organizational problems may arise, but this is only because at one time the representatives of the state apparatus did not properly respond to the public and non-public statements of the head of government.
When asked what kind of reduction he was talking about, Pashinyan, without specifying, said that it was a fairly large percentage - about 80-90%. At the same time, he noted that the vehicle fleet intended for operational work will not be reduced, but, on the contrary, may even increase - due to reductions in other departments.
