Winter call-up in Armenia to start on Nov 25

ArmInfo. From November 25, 2024 to January 31, 2025, a winter conscription of privates for military and alternative service will be announced in Armenia. On November 21,  the Government of Armenia made a decision to announce the winter  conscription and demobilization of 2024.

According to the decision, those male citizens who turn 18 years old  by December 31, 2024, as well as those whose deferment expires before  the end of the year inclusive, will be called up for military  service.

The replenishment of the Armed Forces with citizens subject to  compulsory or alternative military service will be carried out from  January 7 to January 31, 2025 inclusive. The demobilization process  will last from January 9 to January 31, 2025 inclusive.
