ArmInfo.To promote cultural heritage and enhance visibility, Armenia is participating with a separate pavilion at the Christmas fair, held in Vienna's historic Spittelberg district, running until December 23rd. As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MOESCS) of the Republic of Armenia, the Armenian pavilion showcases the handicrafts of 40 craftsmen. This includes a variety of samples and souvenirs of carpet weaving, pottery and doll art. Additionally, as part of the fair, there will be master classes in the Armenian pavilion dedicated to the techniques and features of Armenian crafts.
The program is being implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia in collaboration with the Yerevan Municipality, with assistance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. Additionally, cooperation is taking place with the Culture Development Foundation and the Hovhannes Sharambeyan Museum of Folk Arts. The department also noted that in 2023, Armenia participated with a separate pavilion at the Christmas Fair in Strasbourg.
