ArmInfo.Yesterday evening, another meeting of the Civil Contract (CC) party board was held, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reported on social media, also publishing a video from the meeting. According to the media, it was at this meeting that the fate of CC MP Hovik Agazaryan was decided.
Afterwards, the party announced that issues of an internal political and disciplinary nature were discussed at the meeting.
Meanwhile, information appeared in the media that the CC board decided to resign from the mandate of CC MP Hovik Agazaryan, who was summoned to the Anti-Corruption Committee the previous morning.
According to the media, a confrontation was organized in the preliminary investigation body as part of the bribery case. It was also noted that testimony was given against MP Agazaryan to the Committee, according to which he demanded a bribe in the amount of $300 thousand for the unhindered export of small cattle from Armenia to the UAE, in violation of established procedures.
