Armenia`s premier names new minister of interior 

ArmInfo.The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Armenia will be headed by Arpine Sargsyan, who holds the post of Deputy Minister. This was announced by Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan on a social network.

Sargsyan was appointed Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs in January  2022. Before that, she held the post of Deputy Minister of Justice.

After that, a number of officials resigned, including the head of the  Ministry of Internal Affairs Vahe Ghazaryan. On November 19, the  President of Armenia signed a decree dismissing Ghazaryan from his  post.

As Pashinyan stated, he asked them to leave their posts, explaining  that the reasons for this were not personal, but systemic, which he  spoke about publicly.
