ArmInfo. Azerbaijan and Armenia will revert to discussing the text of the peace treaty next month. This was stated to TASS by Hikmet Hajiyev, an aide to the President of Azerbaijan.
"At the moment, the main topic on Azerbaijan's agenda is COP-29 until the end of November. Most likely, starting in December, a new process will begin between Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the discussion and continuation of negotiations regarding the text of the peace treaty," he said on the sidelines of the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-29) in Baku.
According to Hajiyev, there are certain issues in the text of the document. "Therefore, discussions and negotiations are continuing at the expert level. Because the Armenian side did not respond in time to our proposals regarding the text of the peace treaty. And therefore, we feel a belated process in this context. Most likely, starting in December, there will be a new process," the aide to the President of Azerbaijan added.
