ArmInfo. Armenia sees opportunities to bring the unagreed points of the peace treaty closer. Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan, informed journalists on November 11.
"We have recently received the 11th edition of the Azerbaijani version of the peace treaty and are currently reviewing it. While there are still differences in the approaches of both sides, we believe there are opportunities to bring these approaches closer together," the deputy minister noted, adding that Armenia is interested in normalizing relations with Baku and values the importance of preparing both societies for peace. Regarding the participation of the Armenian delegation at the COP 29 forum in Baku, Kostanyan emphasized that there has been no decision on participation yet. "If a decision is made, the public will be informed accordingly about it, including at what level," the deputy minister noted. He added that the appeals of European MPs to Azerbaijan, calling for the release of all Armenian prisoners before the forum, demonstrates the significance of the issue. Official Yerevan is also actively working towards this goal.
