ArmInfo. The past three years have been marked by new challenges and trials, deepening of ties and intensification of interaction for Armenia and Armenian-Iranian relations. This is stated in the message of the Ambassador of Armenia to Iran Arsen Avagyan, who is concluding his mission in Tehran.
"During this period, the strategic vision for the further development of good-neighborly relations between Armenia and Iran was at the center of my daily attention, as was the entire staff of the embassy. On this difficult path, I would like to express my gratitude to our Armenian community in the IRI, which is a unique social and cultural bridge between Armenia and Iran. I also express my sincere gratitude to the three dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Iran. Over the years, we have managed to maintain traditionally close contacts between the embassy and the Iranian-Armenian community," the diplomat noted.
At the same time, he wished the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran Grigor Hakobyan success in his work and expressed confidence that his activities will contribute to strengthening bilateral relations. "Having completed my diplomatic mission as the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran, I am leaving friendly and brotherly Iran with gratitude and many memories," Avagyan concluded.
